PURE ENJOYMENT. WITHOUT COMPROMISE.

The thermal mug where your coffee never touches plastic.

Did you know that with every sip from your coffee-to-go cup, you are drinking microplastics? And that it is very difficult for your body to break down microplastics?

That's why I founded BAREVA: The very first thermal mug where even the lid and drinking opening are completely plastic-free. In this coffee-to-go mug, your hot coffee remains BPA-free and NEVER touches plastic, plasticisers, or other harmful substances. Thanks to the highest quality stainless steel and a taste-neutral ceramic inner coating – for 100% pure taste.

The difference is in the detail

Why most BPA-free coffee-to-go cups are not a solution either.

Are you already using your own stainless steel or titanium thermal mug? Take a close look at the lid: with 99% of all products, you are drinking from a lid made of plastic. Even if the manufacturer declares your coffee-to-go cup as BPA-free, this only means that the chemical bisphenol A is missing. As soon as the lid is made of plastic, hot liquids release tiny plastic particles which you swallow.

In addition, the hot steam from the coffee condenses on the lid and continuously washes more microplastic particles and chemical substances back into your drink.

What is often overlooked

Do you know this symbol on your coffee-to-go cup?

It stands for plastic. Almost every paper coffee cup from the baker or coffee shop is coated on the inside with plastic (PE) or bioplastic (PLA) to keep the paper leak-proof. Caution - What many people do not know (including me):

  • Classic plastic (PE): The heat from coffee or tea (over 80 °C) softens the paper-thin coating. After just 15 minutes, an average of 25,000 microplastic particles per cup dissolve and migrate directly into your drink.

  • Bioplastic (PLA): Even though PLA is made from renewable resources, chemically speaking it is a polymer (plastic). This layer degrades in the same way at high temperatures and releases particles that can accumulate in the body.
